Join us for a fun weekend in the Tunawaea area of the NW Pureora Forest.

The next weekend is August 31 - September 2, taking out freshly packed 500g bags of bait to our 685 bait stations.

At the start of August we ran a successful track clearing and bait packing weekend with a keen team of 14 people. To add to the fun, we stayed in the woolshed at Olivers farm, because the usual cottage was in use by a farm family while their own farm house is being renovated.

New recurits Jane and Chris were rewarded with hearing and / or seeing kokako - what a real bonus !

For our next weekend, we are likely to be returning to the woolshed - it has a kitchen and a shower and a good collection of mattresses. On Saturday evenings we usualy have a shared dinner that is organised by Jean, Liz and others.
