Friday March 23rd to Sunday 25th

It is anticipated that at the end of March 2018 we will be handing ownership of the Lodge over to the Central Plateau Schools Mountain Lodge Trust.

This will be a Lodge farewell weekend, and a chance to meet representatives of the local schools that are the constituents of this Trust.

This is not an official working bee weekend, but we do want to ensure the Lodge is left in a good, tidy condition, and that the Trust has a great introduction to the maintenance and use of the Lodge.

Specific activities to be advised, but there will be a Farewell Dinner at the Lodge on Saturday night - if you have a suggestion for special activities for the weekend, please let Tony know.

The bus will be leaving on Friday morning 8.00 am, so as to provide a more sociable arrival time on Friday afternoon. It will return to Auckland on Sunday afternoon / evening.

The following will be free for ATC club members current as at March 1st, 2018.

  • Bus fare for the people who will be travelling by ATC bus
  • Accommodation on Friday night and Saturday night
  • Food from Friday night through to Sunday lunch - but do bring something special in the food line to share for Saturday dinner. As usual, lunches provided will be basic, so bring extra lunch provisions to suit

For booking purposes, current ATC members will take precedence over people who are not club members, and people staying both Friday and Saturday nights will have priority on the Lodge accommodation.
