The transfer process has been slow over recent months, but should now proceed to the next stage soon now that the 5 central North Island schools have completed the formation of the trust that will be responsible for operating the Lodge. The full name of the trust is Central Plateau Schools Alpine Charitable Trust.

The next step is to process the lease assignment process through DOC – we are told that will take about a month – in a few weeks hopefully we will be able to finalise the transfer date.

In the short term the ATC continues to be responsible for the Lodge, and you can make bookings through John Dalley as in the past. But please note, the Lodge is now NON catered – while there is some food in the pantry and the freezer (which you are welcome to use), you are now responsible for providing your food essentials.
