Only ATC members can book a trip up to 3 weeks before a trip commences. After that time, non-member bookings may be accepted.

Medium2 day walks based from Waitomo. Friday head to Waitomo and Friday night accommodation – Hamilton Tomo Group Hut, Waitomo. Bunk rooms, kitchen, etc – sleeping bag, pillows required. Saturday drive to Soundy Road, Kiritehere Beach. Take track down to the beach and spend an hour or so searching for fossils. Then ascend a farmland ridge to fabulous views at Pehimatea, a prominent volcanic plug. Return via valley route. Approx 5-6 hours. On the way back to Waitomo, if time, visit Piripiri Caves and Mangapohue Natural Bridge. Sunday a few alternatives / combinations depending on what was achieved on the Saturday.
