Borland, Green Lake and Mt Titiroa

This trip is being planned for December 27th through to January 9th – to and from Queenstown.
After arrival no later than the first flight on the morning of the 27th, we will be whisked away to the Borland Road area, near Lake Monowai and then spend a few days visiting upper Lake Monowai, Green Lake, the tops from Mt Cuthbert, Cleughearn Peak and around to Rodgers Inlet, before ending up at Borland Lodge for a night and reprovisioning.
From there, up the Borland Burn North Branch, over Mt Titiroa, and an exploration of the tracks and huts between the Garnock Burn and Manapouri. Finish with a night in Queenstown.
Details and costs are still being worked out.
Overall the trip is rated as Medium Fit – there is some open tops travel. The aim is not to have long days – 6-7 hours max. Some sections of off track travel.
All plans as usual subject to change based on the conditions at the time.
Maximum party size 10 people. To be considered you must have participated capably in several multi day trips in the last couple of years.
