This is an annual feature; Jim offers not only a good walk but tea etc at the end. MediumWe take the Onetangi bus to the stop before the sports park. Walk up to Rangihoua (Maori Hill), an ancient pa site, follow bush tracks and Tarata Track to Cascade waterfalls for lunch. Afternoon: Trig Hill and along bush tracks through to Onetangi Beach, to “Chateau Morrow” for afternoon tea. Time for swimming. Leader: Jim Morrow Mob 021 264 6085 Transport: Fullers ferry, Auckland via Devonport Destination: Terminal on Waiheke where Jim will meet the party. Departure: 9.00am from Auckland ferry terminal Return: Buses leave Onetangi 40 minutes prior to ferry sailing, currently every half hour (but check the timetable nearer the time), so no need to hurry away – enjoy!
