Drive to Otau Rd off Moumoukai Rd in the Hunuas. Tramp along Suspension Bridge track to the Wairoa Dam and Reservoir. Across the dam to access the Wairoa loop track. Climb up to the lookout for extensive views, then along and complete the loop by descending back down the track to connect to the carpark.
