Farmlands, Headlands, and Beaches of Duder Regional Park

Payment: Please pay in cash on the day if you can – it saves our Club volunteers work. If you forget, don’t worry, we’ll give you the details for an electronic payment.

Return times: Normally 5-7pm, but 6-8pm for trips advertised as “late finish”. However, any trip can be delayed through injury, traffic etc. It’s best not to plan anything for the early evening.

From the main entrance of Duder Park hike the main trails up and over the park to headland of Whakakaiwhara Point. Return loop to take in Sandy / Waiapu Bay (swim stop? - midday hgh tide) then back to bus. Approx 8-9km over open farmland with extensive views.

Meet: Club garage 31 Sandringham Rd by 9.15 am

Greenlane at corner of Omahu and Lillington Rds by 9.30 am – by request to the leader
