A longish tramp along Eastern Suburbs walkways - including recently constructed shared pathways.
Medium Panmure rail station - up and around Mt Wellington, drop down to path along quarry rim overlooking Stonefields.
On to Lunn Ave / Abbotts Way, thru Waiatarua Reserve down Meadowbank Rd, past Meadowbank Village, clockwise circuit of Orakei Basin past water ski club, then pick up new shared path next to the rail line up to College Road.
Shared path down to Countdown on Merton Road, or thru Apirana Reserve to Apirana Ave and thru Eastview cross Line Road thru Taniwha Reserve then up Taniwha St to Line Road and Countdown.
Walkway from College Road to Halligan Drive, Morrin Road, then walkway next to Te Horeta Road back to Panmure Rail Staion.
Distance 17 -18 km, approx 6 hours

Walk Start: Meet in main foyer, Panmure Interchange station at 9.15 am
Note: It may be possible for you to shorten the tramp at Orakei, Meadowbank, or Glen Innes. Trains are not running Easter weekend, but there may be bus services. Bring an AT Hop card if you think you might do this.
