Rescheduled trip, having found a leader. Easy MediumAn area rarely visited by the Club, this trip follows part of Te Araroa Trail. From Remiger Rd Conservation Area climb up a ridgeline over farmland to enter Dunn’s Bush and follow the tracks through large native trees and nikau groves, climbing up to exit the bush at Ahuroa Rd. Walk up Ahuroa Rd for approx. 1km to Tolhopf Rd. The trip can be extended at this stage by following Ian up Moirs Hill (approx. 4km return trip). The rest of the party can return to the start via Tolhopf Rd picking up the TA trail then down the original ridge line to the bus. Approx 10km. Afternoon tea at Puhoi café on the way home if time allows.
