DOC Heaphy Track Fully Open and Bridged
After major storm damage to the Heaphy Track, including the destruction of the bridge over the Heaphy River, DOC had a big job ahead to re-open the whole track. This has now been completed on December 20th, 2023, following the final testing on the new bridge over the Lewis River.
